Road Safety Line (RSL) regularly organises Eye Check-Up & Free Spectacles Distribution Camps for commercial and heavy vehicle drivers with the objective of improving road safety and reducing accidents caused by poor vision. These camps ensure that drivers receive timely eye examinations and corrective spectacles at no cost wherever required.
Good vision is essential for safe driving. Uncorrected eyesight problems increase the risk of accidents due to delayed reaction time, difficulty in reading road signs and poor night vision.
Road Safety Line maintains digital records of driver data and eye test results to improve accuracy, transparency and efficiency, enabling better tracking, reporting and planning of future camps.
